Chester Stevenson, MEd Don Duncan

Chester Stevenson is an instructional designer with more than twelve years experience supporting instructional design and training for smaller companies, government, and now the Boeing company. Chester has developed and delivered blended projects for classroom, webinar, and eLearning. He has served the foundation in a variety of capacities, including instructional design, project management and performance improvement.

Chester has a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources and Management. He also holds a Masters of Science in Instructional and Performance Technology and a Masters Certificate in Workplace eLearning and Performance Support from Boise State University.

Danielle Leith, MADaniel Leith

Danielle has been with KeelWorks since 2012, where she supported learning design and development for KeelWorks core competencies. Since then she has been a valuable member of the foundation's advisory committee. She brought leadership to foundation intern recruitment as our Intern Recruitment Coordinator. In this capacity she has developed recruitment strategy as well as recruitment marking and presentation. Her reliable and energetic participation means a great deal to the foundation. She is a model for the kind of support that makes a foundation effective.

In her "day" job, Danielle is a training and education associate providing instructional design for a Pittsburgh non-profit. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Pittsburgh's Point Park University.

Paulo Sudhaus, PhDPaulo Sudhaur, M.Ed.

Paulo is an instructional designer and educator, with 10 years experience teaching at the university level and is currently completing a PhD in Educational Psychology at the University of Arizona. Paulo holds a Master's degree in Music Performance (Oboe) from the University of Georgia. His education includes further graduate studies in oboe performance and ethnomusicology (University of Michigan), instructional technology, cultural and media studies, psychology, anthropology, and ethnomusicology (University of Arizona). Paulo also holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance-Oboe (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Systems (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil).

Paulo's varied background and experiences provided him with invaluable tools to support the KeelWorks virtual asynchronous learning model as well as the many graduate intern teams at KeelWorks. As the director of KeelWorks Learning, Paulo supports course design as well as the instructional designer development. He is passionate about the KeelWorks mission to advance learning models.

When not teaching, designing instruction, or supporting ISD teams, Paulo can be found with his music.

Randy Austin-Cordova, MEdRandy Austin-Cordova, M.Ed.

Randy has more than 10 years experience in ISD.† He started his career in biomedical communications and medical photography and remains one of the few board-certified medical photographers in North America.† Randy changed his career focus in 1998 earning his Masters in Instructional Technology from Wayne State University.† Randy's instructional practice spans the automotive, financial, healthcare and business spectrum. He is married with two grown children.

Randy took a leading role in the development of the Problem Solving core competency course. He served as a project lead, and he has taken a leading role in development and delivery of Dreamweaver training for KeelWorks interns. He has been closely involved since 2009.

Robert Buchinski, MEd Image of Robert Buchinski

Robert has designed and developing award winning training for over 15 years.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University, a master’s degree in business from Central Michigan University and an MEd in Educational Technology from San Diego State University. He is a national conference speaker for on-line training techniques and is the recipient the 2005 ISPI Award of Excellence for outstanding training intervention.

He has developed training applications for leading technology firms including: Hewlett Packard, Oracle Systems, Intel, and Perot Systems. He is a member of ASTD and the eLearning Guild. Robert is a strong leader with experience in forming organizations. His leadership is the driving force behind the formation of the KeelWorks foundation.

Smitha Mohan Reddy Edulakanti, PhD Smitha Edulakanti, Ph.D.

Dr. Edulakanti holds Bachelorís degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India. She holds her Masterís degree in Electronics and Computer Technology and a Doctoral degree in Curriculum, Instruction and Media Technology from Indiana State University. In 2009 her doctoral research was published as a monograph titled ďDeveloping, Implementing and Evaluating Computer-based Instruction.

Smitha joined KeelWorks in 2009 and has been instrumental in the formation of instructional design internships, process, templates, and team administration. Smitha is on sabbatical from active KeelWorks participation caring for her first child.

J. Michael Kerr, PhD Michael Kerr, Ph.D.

Dr. Michael has over 25 years experience communicating technology for such companies as HP, Intel, The Money Store, EDS, Gap Inc., and Dell. He also has experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school English as a Second Language (ESL), Spanish, computer skills, and music notation.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Brigham Young University, a Master of Education degree in Instructional Technology from American Intercontinental University, and a PhD in Education in Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University. His research includes base-12 music notation and English/Spanish phonetics. Michaelís deep knowledge of learning theory and passion for better outcomes has served KeelWorks well over the years.

Thomas Garrod, MEd Thomas Garrod, M.Ed. Executive Director

Thomas brings 15 years organizational learning consulting and six years leading the KeelWorks foundation. With help and encouragement from Robert Buchinski, Thomas founded KeelWorks in 2008 applying his dream to enable upward mobility - especially for the economically disadvantaged.

Once a high-school dropout with six small children, Thomas established the foundation to change outcomes for underachievers like himself. His passion has been overseeing development of foundation learning programs and especially instructional design. To this end, he as developed a comprehensive instructional design training program and mentored over 300 graduate instructional designers. He is fond of saying, "There are no stupid learners, there is only stupid learning expression." The foundation ISD program is a laboratory for process improvement and team development. Most board members came to KeelWorks for this program.

In his day job, Thomas is an organizational development consultant supporting learning program enhancement and employee engagement.
